Sunday Chillin

We just got our front yard landscaped and we decided to relax a little and enjoy it. Sammy loved being able to chill out in the front yard with us. Sophia slept the whole time.

2 Months and Counting.......

Our baby girl is now 2 months old and we just had her big vaccine Dr. visit. She is weighing in at 11 pds 1 oz and is 23 1/4 inches long. She is in the 50% range for her weight and 75% range for her height. The Doctor said she is going to be tall like her daddy. After being in Choc Hospital for a week she can handle anything now, so it wasn't that bad. She got 4 shots and one vaccine that was oral. She was a champ. She got a little fussy that night and was up for awhile, but nothing too bad.

It's crazy how much she changes day to day. She looks at us so intently and follows us around the room with her eyes. She recognizes our voices and is such a mama's girl. She'll be a daddy's girl soon enough so I'll take it while I can. She actually looks like she could be rolling over soon. She throws her legs to both sides and is so close to make the big roll. I'll keep you posted when the big roll over happens.

We had visitors yesterday and as usual Sophia was her happy self.

TUB TIME...........

We finally had Sophia's first bath tub experience. I've been giving her sponge baths this whole time because for some reason I was afraid of using the tub. It went great and she loved it.

Another Photo Shoot

One of our local photographers was asked to take some new infant photos for our hospital and she picked Sophia for some of the photos. I think it's so cool that Sophia's photos will be hung up in the maternity ward of the hospital where she was born. Here are some of the photos.

There's nothing better than Motherhood

If there was nothing in this world that was ever given to me, but this sweet precious little girl, I would still be happiest woman alive. Well.... of course I would need my amazing husband too. I'm so excited to share my first Mother's day with her and Michael.

To all of the Mother's out there........... I now know why you've all told me that there is nothing better than being a Mom. I hope you all have an amazing day with your amazing children, grown and still growing.

We introduced a new toy today and she loved it. She was so content and happy and played for almost an hour. She just kept kicking and talking. I'll try and post a video of it.
