We had a great Thanksgiving with Michael's Family. Sophia was such a good girl and had a blast. She even got to sit at the adult table. She loved it and laughed and giggled the whole time.
We went out last weekend and picked out our Xmas tree. Sophia loved it. She grabbed onto all the trees as we walked through. I can't wait to decorate for Xmas and see what she thinks of everything. It's going to be a great Christmas.
Here is a video of Sophia enjoying her time with her Daddy. She loves her horse. It's a long video but at the end you will see her trying to give her horse a kiss.
So I have been trying forever to get her to use a bottle nipple that is for her age, but she just won't do it. She is still using a 3 month old nipple. Urgh.
So we finally caught it on camera. Every time this Toyota commercial comes on she stops what ever she is doing and stares at the TV, then starts laughing. Ignore the mess on her shirt and face. We decided to have dinner without a bib on.
Of this precious little face. Honestly I could take pictures of her all day. She is getting so big and doing so much. She crawls everywhere, pulls herself up on things and tries to balance on her knees, started eating meat, copies what we do, says mama (even though she has no idea what she is saying, I still hear mama), and just makes us smile every day. We are taking her camping again this weekend and it should go a little better than last time. We are not going to the mountains where it's freezing. We are going to Santa Barbara instead and a heat wave is coming this weekend so, perfect timing. She's almost 8 months already and I just can't slow it down. I can't wait to have more babies, as long as they are just as precious as she is!!! (actually I can wait..... but I am excited for Sophie to have a friend)
My Chuchie Sis made Sophie's first costume. She is a little pink crayon. She also made all my costumes when I was little and one of my first ones was a red crayon. I'm going to try and find the picture and post it on here.
We took Sophie around to some of our neighbors for trick or treating. She loved it. Her first house was her Aunt Jessica (my best friend). She even had her pumpkin basket ready to go and shook it at people until they put candy in it. Michael is very excited for next year so she can get a lot of candy for him.
It has happened. Right at 6 months she started doing her commando crawling. Now she is full on crawling everywhere. I will get some new video on here soon. It is so cute. This video is from last week. She is also pulling herself up on things already. Only on her knees though, not the feet yet. I'm not ready for that one. We had to drop the mattress in her crib because I came in and she was up on her knees with her hands on the railing. I'm so afraid she's going to bash her head on it.
