We had our 2nd Doctor visit yesterday and it was the best yet. There really is a baby in there. CRAZY! First we got to here the heartbeat and that was what made it all seem real. I cried. It was such a crazy feeling finally getting to here something and see a baby. After crying the Doctor said, "We're not supposed to do another ultrasound yet, but I'm a sucker for people who cry when they hear the heart beat, so let's see what the baby is up to." As soon as she put it on my stomach we saw that little Bartle doing acrobats in my stomach. We could see the hands, nose, profile, and the spine. That Bartle is very active already. Michael said it's definitely a boy with all that action going on. I gained 3 pounds this trimester and it just keeps going from here. We will be going next Friday to find out the sex early. I can't wait for my Doctor to do it
(20 weeks) so I'm going to a special Doctor that does it anytime after 13 weeks!!!!
On another note God had some crazy hands on me and the Tahoe today. A car in front of me this morning decided to flip across the freeway (bad lane change) and caused a huge pile up ALL AROUND ME. Somehow my east coast snow & ice driving skills came into play and I fish tailed through all of it, without hitting anything. I was hysterical though, not a fun feeling. Poor Michael..... I called him as I was trying to get off the freeway to breath and I couldn't get a word out. I definitely scared him, but through a few breaths I was able to say I'm fine. I sat off the freeway for about 20 minutes before I got back on. Not too fun, but thanks to my angels, me and our little bambino are fine.
