Merry Christmas

It's Christmas Eve day and I think it's one of my favorite days of the year. Michael is out getting some last minute Xmas presents for me and I'm relaxing with Sammy. We're leaving here around 2pm to drive to San Diego and go to a Monday Night Chargers Football Game. Watch for me on TV. I'll be the one wearing my Santa hat and I'll be the only one with a really big belly that is not from beer!!!

98 Days Left

Here is another one from last night. You can only see a few kicks here and there. I was trying not to breath as heavy....

Not feeling so great......

So last night our little precious baby girl decided to put her little foot through my ribs. Well that's what I think anyway, but what do I know. I couldn't sleep last night and was really sore this morning. As they day progressed it just got worse. It hurt to sit, stand, breath, or do anything at all. I called my doctor and she told me to come in. When she measured my stomach I yelped because it hurt to even touch my stomach. She said I'm still measuring fine and my stomach wasn't discolored from any bruising. She checked to make sure I wasn't dilated at all and I'm not. That was not fun at all. The heart beat sounded strong and she said the baby is fine. She justified my thought and said that because she is so active she could have kicked my rib and bruised me. I was told to take it easy and call her back if it doesn't get better in a few days. I really hope it gets better because even after 1 day of "taking it easy" I'm about to go nuts. I thought I would let you guys see a little sneak peak of active she really is. Below is a video from tonight. The 2nd video is even better but it was taking too long to load. I will load it tomorrow. I am breathing heavy in them but you will be able to tell when she kicks. These do not even do her movement justice.

Sammy's first time seeing SNOW!!!

We decided to take a trip to Mammoth this weekend so that Michael could start enjoying his season pass. We drove up Friday, stayed the night, and then drove back Saturday after Michael was done boarding. It was a perfect time to see how Sammy would do on a long road trip. She was great. She absolutely loved the snow. While Michael boarded I took her to the park and let her run wild with a couple of other puppies. She was so cute. Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Another Eventful Weekend!!!

We had another crazy weekend with lots to do, but it was a good one. Friday night was Michael's Xmas party and as always we had a great time. My dad also flew in Friday night to visit for the weekend. I had a cookie exchange party at our house on Saturday and on Saturday night Dad and I had a father/daughter dinner date. To top it all off Michael's family came over on Sunday to celebrate his Mom's Birthday and my Dad's Birthday. Now it's Monday and we are all back to work. Tomorrow I will be 25 weeks and I'm really getting excited to see this baby girl that is pouncing around in my stomach 24/7.

24 Week Check Up

6 months

It wasn't an exciting one that's for sure. I gained 5 POUNDS this month. I guess that's ok. I am now up to 11 pounds altogether. I suppose it could be worse. She did say that my blood pressure was higher than normal. I'm usually in my 120's and today it was more like upper 30's. She said it's fine and maybe I just had an off day. The heartbeat was so much louder and more defined than in the past. I go back in a month to do the Glucose test and then after that my visits are going to be every 2 weeks instead of once a month.

Dad is coming this weekend for another visit so I'm really excited to see him and now he gets to feel the baby move. Last night Michael was sitting in his chair and I was on the couch and the baby was going crazy in my stomach. I told Michael to watch my stomach and he could see it moving all over the place. It was pretty wild. She was popping out on both sides of my stomach at the same time. I wish I could have caught it on camera.

Decorating the Tree

We had a great Sunday night. We put on the Christmas music and put all our ornaments on the tree. I made us hot chocolate (WITH FLUFF). This first picture is for you Nana. I have my mug and my shirt............

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!

We went and picked up our tree this weekend. The house is all decorated and I'm ready for the festivities to begin. I think one of the main reasons why Michael married me is because of how much I love holidays and love to decorate. He used to laugh at me, but now he just knows that is how I am.

The baby is doing great. She is moving all over the place and it's pretty wild. I will be 6 months on Tuesday and I have another check up on Wednesday. I will post more after that.
