I'm a BIG GIRL!!!!!

Looks whose in her big girl car seat now and facing forward. I thought I would be sad about it but I actually think it's great. Now she can see what is going on and she loves it. Every time I turn around and look at her she starts cracking up.
I won't tell you that it took me her whole nap this morning (about an hour) to figure out the stupid thing. Don't laugh at me, these things are not easy.
I was sweating when I came back in the house.

Clapping

This is video from a month ago when Sophie first started clapping.

TGIF

I Wrestle Hippos

Sorry for the motion sickness. Michael isn't very steady with the camera.

So much to say.......

It's been a busy few weeks and I know I'm way far behind on my blogging. You guys are ruthless. I get these nasty, well not really nasty, but demanding emails that you all need pictures and updates. So here we go...

Sophia is almost 11 months now and is doing so much. She is such a little character and keeps us laughing all day long. Sometimes she acts like this little aggressive boy and sometimes she is just the sweetest, most loving little girl. I think she really is JUST LIKE ME!!!!

She wrestles everything. She has this big stuffed animal hippo and she rolls around on it and throws it every where. It's bigger than she is. I have video of it that I will get on here soon. Let's see what else.... She loves to eat cheerios, yogurt, sweet potatoes, bananas, any fruit, nothing with chunks... we are still working on that. She is walking a lot. It keeps getting better and better every day. Once she walks to us she just falls in our lap and starts clapping. She smiles and laughs a lot, loves to dance, crawls super fast, loves mommy's basket of makeup, loves sammy (the dog), points to things when we ask where they are, talks on mommy's phone all the time and calls people when I don't know it, gets really excited when Daddy comes home, loves patty cake, really loves peek a boo and does it everywhere. Yesterday we were out on a walk and the whole time she was doing peek a boo with her blanket. She has discovered her hair, or what little of it she has. While my parents were here my Mom gave Sophie her first haircut. Trust me... she did have a few crazy wild hairs that needed to be cut. She has 5 teeth in and a few more in the works. She is almost ready for her big girl car seat. I am so excited to be able to put her facing forward in the car. She is going to love it. oh goodness what else.... she does this "nice nice" thing when we say that to her. She'll come over and lay her head on you and pat your head. It is the cutest. She isn't saying any words yet, but hopefully soon. I am trying to teach her stuff every day. The only thing she has said once in awhile is Mama and only when she is crying. I guess that's all for now. Here are some pictures from the past few weeks. The ones of me and Michael are from our trip to Mammoth last week. We had our first real trip without Sophie. My parents stayed here with her for 4 days while we went to the mountains. We had such a great time and so did Sophie. Thanks Grammy and Grampy!!!!
