Cwazy Baby!!!! (that's how we say it around here)
This is what we in the Bartle household call "Cwazy Baby." She gets all wild and goes nuts for a little while. It usually turns into cwanky baby, but it starts out really funny.
Another Contraption
She is almost big enough for yet another thingy to sit in. We had to put a blanket behind her so she wouldn't flop all around, but she loved it. She was most amused by the music. She kept opening her mouth up and shaking all around. Way too cute.

Urgh.... 4 months already
Time is just flying by. We had Sophie's check up yesterday. She was a trooper. Only cried a little with those nasty shots. She is weighing in at 13lbs. 7ozs. and is 25 inches long. She is still right on for her weight and is still above average for her length. She is changing so much. She has great control of her head, watches everything, laughs at Sammy, babbles non-stop, constantly kicks her feet, loves bath time, rolls over, and I could just keep going.
She had a great weekend with her Daddy. I was very sick since Thursday and I couldn't even get myself out of bed. I thought I had the flu. I had all the symptoms and they were worse than the flu. I didn't even want to move, my head hurt so bad. Finally by Sunday I figured out that I had mastisis. It was not fun to say the least. I just got meds on Monday so I should be back to normal soon. Michael was so great though. I felt really bad. He was taking care of me, Sophie, and Sammy. He did a great job though. Every time I would tell him what he needed to do with Sophie he said, "I know.. we already talked about it." (meaning him and Sophie talked about it already) Thanks sweetie for being so great.

The lollipop kid....
Have you ever seen the lollipop kids on the Wizard of Oz? Well when they come out to do their dance they clasp their hands like this and shake them on both sides of their head. That's what this picture reminds me of.

She is finally laughing. It is the cutest thing ever. She only does it when Sammy barks. She loves that dog. Michael and I have been barking at her like Sammy does and she thinks it is sooo funny.

4th of July 2008!!!!
I can't believe that 1 year ago (on the 4th) we were making this baby back in New York!!! So this holiday was a special one for us. We were looking at her and couldn't believe that in 1 year she went from a little nothing to this beautiful, almost 13lb baby. It was a mellow 4th for us this year, but we enjoyed every minute of it.

This one is very special. We were posing for Michael to take a picture of us and Sophia looked down at Sammy and laughed for the first time. It happened right as Michael was taking the picture and this is what he caught.....
