So here's the deal... Michael got me this video editing thingy for Christmas and it is my new best friend. I could use it all day. I'm not very good at it yet, but it is so fun putting together photos and videos for everyone to see. This latest one is from our trip to Maine this past August.

Christmas Morning

We had a wonderful 1st family Christmas. Sophie got us up at 6:15 (no earlier than normal) but we could tell she was excited. We had some breakfast first and then let her loose on the presents. She liked the wrapping and ribbons better than the actual presents. It took us awhile to get through all of them.
Santa was good to us this year!!!

She Dances

Here are some videos that we took of Sophia starting to dance to music. Every time we start filming her she stops so they are just little tid bits of what she actually does. When she is crawling around and hears music she stops in mid crawl and waves her arm around or bounces in place. It is the cutest thing ever.
Needless to say all these kids songs are running through our heads ALL DAY LONG!!!

Good Morning Winter

So I'm not sure what winter is thinking but we woke up this morning with snow on the hills behind our house. They are about 2000ft high.
These are the hills where Michael and I mountain bike ride. I've never seen snow there!!!!!
What's even crazier is it was in the 80's here last week.

Here is the new laugh

So as I mentioned below Sophia has come up with a new laugh. Michael says it sounds like Morse Code and I think it sounds like a wood pecker. What do you think?

It just can't get any better

She is always laughing but all of sudden her laugh has changed. Michael says it sounds like Morse Code. I think it sounds like a wood pecker. I will try and catch it on camera.

Night Out

We had Michael's Christmas party Friday night and Grandma babysat.

HO HO HO

What a great weekend. We took Sophia to see Santa Claus. There is a house in our neighborhood that decorates the house with more lights than I've ever seen and Santa comes to see the kids every weekend in December. They also collect toys for one of the local toy drives so it's a great thing to be a part of. Sophia loved it. She was just staring at all the lights. We were both convinced that she was going to ball when we handed her over to Santa, but surprisingly she didn't. She didn't really like him, but there were no tears. If you look closely in this first photo you can see her top tooth coming down.
