More Summer 2010
All is going good in the Bartle household. Summer is over and it's the final countdown towards Baby Bartle #2. Sophie is getting more and more excited. We are having a baby shower this weekend and I'm so excited! Mom and Dad are flying out and Mom is throwing the shower! This means a great party and GREAT food!
Pregnancy is going well. I'm much more tired this time than I was with Sophie. I also popped out a rib yesterday and that was pretty painful. My chiropractor put it back in place then I had a prego massage today to get the muscles loosened up. Hopefully by tomorrow it will be better!

Fun in the Sun!!
So much to say yet so little time. Sorry I have not been updating everyone lately. It's been a little crazy around here lately, as you can imagine. Baby #2 is due in just over 2 months and all is well. We are healthy and growing fast. It seems as though I have tripled in size in 2 weeks. I'm 27 weeks now and have already started the final countdown. I'm DONE being pregnant. It's not that bad, I just want it over with!
Sophie is growing up so fast I can't even blink my eyes without something changing. She is so excited about having a little baby brother. She talks about him all the time. She can now count to 13, is sort of learning her colors (mike & I think she's color blind, let's hope not), she talks up a storm and her sentences are getting longer and longer. She is now is swim class and hates it. LOL So much for having a beach baby! She loves the beach but won't go near the water, just like her mommy!
Mikes work is keeping him busy but we love living so much closer to his work. He comes home for lunch sometimes and is able to be home way before Sophie's bedtime. They've been doing some Daddy/Daughter bike rides to the park and even talked to a fireman at the fire station. We ride by this station all the time and Sophie loves to see the fire truck. If the doors are closed she says "firetruck is sleeping". Once she even said "firetruck is going poo poo in his house". She cracks us up everyday!
The baby nursery is almost complete and we have a small baby shower coming up in 2 weeks. I'm so excited. Mom and Dad will also be in town for it!
